Discover what makes Filament Edition Bibles unlike any Bible app you've used before. Learn how the app connects directly to your physical Bible and what that means for your reading, study, and worship experience.

Filament Bible App Basics

Filament is a free app that connects to your print Filament edition Bible. Scan a page and it instantly pulls up study notes, articles, devotionals, videos, maps, and worship music for exactly what you're reading.

What is the Filament Bible App?

The Filament Bible App only works with print Filament edition Bibles, published in English (NLT), Spanish (NTV), and Portuguese (NVT).

Filament Edition Bibles

Filament edition Bibles pair a beautiful print Bible with the free Filament Bible App, giving you instant access to study notes, devotionals, videos, maps, and audio for the page you’re reading. This guide shows you where to shop for one.

Where to Buy a Filament Bible

Everything you need to get up and running with Filament. From downloading the app and creating your account to connecting your Bible and managing your setup. Start here and you'll be ready to go in minutes.

Getting Started

Walkthrough downloading and setting up Filament on your iOS/iPadOS or Android device.

Downloading the Filament Bible App

Just got your first Filament edition Bible? This guide walks you through setup, creating your account, and getting your Bible and device fully connected. You'll need your physical Filament edition Bible and a phone or tablet.

Creating your Account and Connecting your Bible

If the Scripture shown in the app doesn't match the page in front of you, the app is likely connected to a different edition than the one you're holding.

Checking your Active Filament Edition Bible

If you have a new Bible from the Filament collection, you'll need to activate it in the app so it can deliver the right content for each page.

Adding More than One Filament Bible

If your list of Bibles gets long, you can remove editions you’re no longer using.

Removing a Bible

You can update your name, email address, password, and time zone directly from within the Filament Bible App at any time.

Managing Your Account

Learn how to move through your Bible and the app with ease. Whether you're scanning a page, navigating by book and chapter, or adjusting your settings; everything you need for a smooth reading experience is right here.

Reading & Navigation

Every page in a Filament edition Bible is mapped in the app, so scanning a page number pulls up the study content tied to exactly what's in front of you. This is why your active edition has to match your physical Bible: page numbers differ between editions.

Scanning the Filament Icon

Filament keeps the app in sync with your Bible through four methods. Use whichever fits how you're reading.
