Reading Plan Playback

Listening to a reading plan? The audio player lets you control playback, follow along verse by verse, sync back to the passage being read, and choose how far the audio keeps going.

What you'll see in the player

The player header shows what's playing, the passage, audio edition, narrator, and, if you're in a plan, its name and day. The progress bar shows elapsed and remaining time, with a marker for the exact verse playing; drag it to jump anywhere in the reading.

Interface

Controls: the center button plays and pauses; the 15-second buttons skip within the reading; the outer buttons jump to the previous or next reading; tap the speed button to cycle 1x, 1.25x, and 1.5x.

Sync: if you've scrolled away from the verse playing, a Sync button appears, tap it to jump back to that page.

Autoplay: inside a reading plan, tap Autoplay to cycle through Off (stops at the end of the current reading), Autoplay (continues through the day's readings), and Autoplay+ (continues to the end of the plan). Outside a plan, audio just plays to the end of the current book.
