Scanning the Filament Icon
Each page in a Filament Edition Bible is mapped to specific scripture. When you scan a page number, the app looks up that mapping for your activated edition and returns content in the form of videos, articles, devotionals, and more, tied to exactly what's on that page. This is why activating the correct Bible edition matters: page numbers differ between editions.
Steps
1. Open your Bible to any page: Have your physical Filament Bible open to the page you want content for.
2. Tap the scan icon: In the app, tap the camera/scan icon in the bottom navigation bar to open the scanner.
3. Align the camera to the page number: Point your phone's camera at the Filament icon/page number on the open page and align it within the scanner frame.
The app reads the page number, not the scripture text itself, to determine what content to load.
4. Confirm the page number: The app will display the detected page number on screen. Verify it matches the page your Bible is open to, then tap Go.
5. Your content loads: The app instantly delivers study content connected to the scripture on that specific page. Every scan is page-specific, so the content always matches exactly what's in front of you.
