Using Interactive Illustrations

Finding Infographics and Illustrations

1. Open the See section: Tap the See icon from the home screen. Infographics and illustrations are listed alongside videos and maps.

2. Scroll to find them: Scroll down through the content list. Infographics and illustrations appear below videos. Tap any item to open it.

Types of Content You'll Find

• Detailed illustrations — architectural reconstructions and historical scenes such as temple layouts and first-century structures

• Infographics — visual comparisons and explainers such as how Israel's lunar calendar relates to the modern solar calendar

Interacting with the Content

Pinch and zoom: Use standard pinch-to-zoom gestures to zoom into any part of the illustration or infographic for a closer look at finer details.

Tap bold labels: Look for bolded labels throughout the illustration as these are interactive. Tap any one to open a detail panel with more information about that element.

Some labels open additional illustrations you can explore further. For example, tapping a section of a building may reveal a detailed view of its interior.

Expand and dismiss details: Detail panels can be expanded to read more or dismissed when you're done to return to the full illustration view.

Closing an Infographic or Illustration

When you're done, grab the bar at the top of the screen and slide it down. This closes the visual and returns you to the full content list in the See section.

Zoom and pan: Use standard pinch-to-zoom gestures for a closer look
