Downloading the Filament Bible App

Walkthrough downloading and setting up Filament on your iOS/iPadOS or Android device.

Downloading on iOS/iPadOS (Apple App Store)

Requirements: iPhone or iPad running iOS 14.0/iPadOS 15.5 or later.

  1. Open the App Store

  2. Search Filament Bible App, and tap Get.

  3. Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password

  4. Tap Open once it installs.

Downloading on Android (Google Play Store)

Requirements: Android device running Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later.

  1. Open the Google Play Store

  2. Search Filament Bible App, and tap Install.

  3. Confirm any permissions

  4. Tap Open once it installs.

Troubleshooting

“The app doesn't appear in search results” - Confirm your device meets the minimum OS requirements listed above.

“The app won't install.” - Ensure you have sufficient storage space on your device (at least 100 MB recommended) and a stable internet connection, and that your device isn't on a beta software version.

“I can't find the Filament Bible App content after installing.” - Make sure you have a Filament edition Bible. The app requires a compatible print Bible to unlock its full features. Look for the Filament logo on the Bible's cover and within the first few pages of the Bible.
